PrepIt 0.3.0 — Better iPad Sessions, Tips & Team Controls
PrepIt 0.3.0 is rolling out through TestFlight as we continue testing the new shared iPad experience and operations improvements in real coffee shop workflows.
- Shared shop iPad: A shop iPad can stay connected between app launches, so the station is ready for the team without repeatedly signing the whole shop back in.
- Manager Mode: Managers can temporarily unlock their own tools, finish manager work, and return the iPad to its regular shop experience without replacing the main shop session.
- Better Tips workflows: Daily Tips and Tip Distribution are easier to follow, with a clearer distinction between viewing Tips and managing a distribution across iPad and web.
- Manager access can now be set per person, so each Manager can have the tools that match their responsibilities across Scheduling, Inventory, Team, Payroll, and Tips.
- Payroll and Tip Distribution: This release expands the groundwork for payroll periods, daily tip records, employee tip allocations, history, and Manager-specific Payroll and Tips access.
- More reliable iPad sessions: Relaunches, brief offline moments, session continuity, and sign-out behavior are more predictable for an iPad that stays at the shop.
- What’s next: We’re continuing to improve scheduling, tasks, employee tools, Tips, payroll, and inventory around the way coffee shops work each day.
